It is a modular typeface inspired by the traditional Mandala artwork and named after a Sanskrit word for Mandala in Hinduism. I have developed the typeface using fontstruct and a custom grid of basic geometric shapes. The design features sleek curves, checkered patterns and bold blocks that create a dynamic balance of positive and negative space. The final outcome includes a full typeface set, an A1 poster showcasing the letterforms and a type specimen demonstrating the typeface in use.
